Ellyn Elson, RD, is an author and a nationally recognized public speaker in the area of employee motivation, leadership, communication and management. She has served on numerous national and state Boards of Directors and has received many industry awards including IFSEA’s Food Service Industry Award of Excellence, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Medallion Award, Jack Davis Professional Achievement Award at the University of Alabama, recipient NACUFS’ Daryl Van Hook Industry Award, HFM’s prestigious President’s Award, California Dietetic Association’s Outstanding Service Award and was ASHFSA’s first Jill Gift Memorial Lecturer. Her first motivational book, co-authored with Ken Wasco, Live Like You Mean It, has been an inspirational guidebook to many professionals.
Her latest endeavor, The Aquatic Birds Coloring Book was the culmination of five years of research with her husband Larry, into an area that has been a lifelong fascination.
